Apex gets water from Jordan Lake at the jointly owned Cary/Apex Water Treatment Plant. The water is treated to improve taste and odor, remove particles, and disinfect.
On city water: Your utility tests and treats your water, and its report is public. We go through the report with you and recommend a system only for what you want to change. We help people address taste, smell, and the chlorine or chloramine their utility uses.
On a private well: Nobody tests a well but the owner, so there’s no public report for your address. We check existing well water databases and select the system based on what it shows.
