Raleigh Water sources the city water from Falls Lake in Northern Wake County and Lake Benson in Garner. Water is treated at E.M. Johnson and D.E. Benton water treatment plants.
On city water: Your utility tests and treats your water, and its report is public. We go through the report with you and recommend a system only for what you want to change. We help people address taste, smell, and the chlorine or chloramine their utility uses.
On a private well: Nobody tests a well but the owner, so there’s no public report for your address. We check existing well water databases and select the system based on what it shows.
